Based on the success and positive feedback of 2008, One-on-One meetings are back for the 2009 National Buyer/Seller Forum.

One-on-One meetings give Alberta’s oil sands Buyers the opportunity to meet with potential suppliers or partners (you, the Seller). In 2008, more than 500 One-on-One meetings took place; resulting in the beginnings of the relationships needed to develop strategic supply networks.

Comments from last year’s hosts included:

“As one of the rules in business, one never knows enough people, regardless of the industry.  As everyone’s industry is part of so many others, the National Buyer Seller Forum is a good vehicle.”

Don Oborowsky, Co-owner/President/CEO
Waiward Steel Fabricators

"I find the One-on-One meetings are a great forum for focused discussion between buyers and sellers with the potential to match compatible companies . In my experience, these meetings have made the process of screening new opportunities more effective and efficient."

"The National Buyer/Seller Forum provides valuable learning and networking experiences for companies from across Canada, resulting in new market and partnering opportunities across many industry sectors."

Dave Rider, Senior QA/QC Technical Specialist
Shell Canada Limited
