Shell Canada Limited is a large, integrated petroleum company in Canada, headquartered in Calgary and directly employing about 4800 people across the country. Supported by a number of corporate departments, the company has three major businesses. Exploration & Production is responsible for the exploration, production and marketing of natural gas and natural gal liquids from extensive onshore and offshore operations. Oil Sands includes a major integrated bitumen mining and upgrading operation and Shell Canada's in situ bitumen business in Alberta. Oil Products manufactures, distributes and markets, refined petroleum products across Canada. shell's three refineries convert crude oil into gasoline and diesel fuel, aviation fuels, solvents, lubricants, asphalt and heavy fuel oils. Shell Canada supplies these products to retail, commercial and road transport markets through its Canada-wide network of Shell- and private-branded retail and cardlock sites.
About Maria Lindenberg, Chief Procurement Officer.
Maria Lindenberg joined Shell Canada Limited in 1981 upon graduation from the University of Manitoba (B.Comm Hons). Her career with Shell has been primarily in Supply Chain Management and has also included assignments in Business and Finance. She is currently Manager, Shared Services and is the Chief Procurement Officer for Shell Canada Limited and a member of Shell's global procurement leadership team.
